Meet your Teacher!

Aloha! My name is Aaron Cardenas and I am a born and raised Kaneohe native. I moved to Maui to take a position at Kamehameha Schools Maui campus where I teach Ukulele and Guitar for grades 6-12.

I graduated from theYale School of Music in 2019 where I was admitted on a full-ride scholarship, finishing with an M.M. and M.M.A. in guitar performance.

Though I my studies were in classical guitar performance, I am an avid practitioner of hawaiian slack key, jazz, electric guitar and ukulele.

I’m ecstatic to be able to provide guitar and ukulele lessons for the island of Maui! If you have any questions for me please don’t hesitate to ask.
